Let's get down to work — no more empty words. Our four pillars are not a dogma. We have a versatile portfolio, but we prefer to focus our effort on a few niche projects rather than creating an empty bubble.

The sectors below represent where we have identified genuine, underserved opportunities in Cabo Verde — gaps the market has ignored, infrastructure the country needs, and industries that can anchor long-term economic independence. Each pillar comes with specific projects, feasibility work, and partners already at the table.

01Infrastructure & Connectivity

Maritime Transport

Cabo Verde as an island nation deserves far better interconnectivity between its islands — for people, goods, and economic momentum. Maritime transport is an absolutely crucial and deeply neglected sector. We have identified gaps and missed opportunities in both inter-island and international routes, and we are working hand in hand with the local government to address them. We have a specific project on the table, supported by a basic economic feasibility study and ROI models, and are currently in early-stage discussions with government on the terms and conditions of a potential concession framework.

02Blue Economy

Aquaculture

Blue Economy is a major global topic — and so far, almost nothing has been done in Cabo Verde. That needs to change. With the ideal natural conditions the archipelago offers, sustainable aquaculture — both onshore and offshore — can guarantee a more independent, export-oriented future for the country. It diversifies an economy heavily dependent on services and tourism, builds technical capacity, transfers know-how and technology, and lays the foundation for a skilled, educated labour force. We are currently developing and preparing for the pilot phase of two projects in São Nicolau, each at a different scale — one in partnership with a strong Norwegian operator.

03Export & Value Creation

Agribusiness

Cabo Verde is extraordinarily fertile — name any agricultural product and it can be grown here. Yet the country's agricultural potential remains largely untapped and unrecognised internationally. With basic processing and value-added production, Cabo Verde can put its products on international markets — as it has done before with other goods. We are focused on building the chain from field to export: identifying the right crops, establishing processing capacity, and opening market access. The opportunity is real, the land is ready, and the timing is right.

04Renewable Infrastructure

Green Energy

With over 300 sunny days a year and consistent Atlantic winds, Cabo Verde is a natural candidate for renewable energy leadership in the region. We actively promote and support government public tenders aimed at increasing the country's green energy capacity — connecting qualified international operators with the right opportunities, and helping to accelerate the transition to a cleaner, more energy-independent Cabo Verde.
